Amanda Roland, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
With over a decade of experience as a speech-language therapist, I believe a child's motivation and unique personality in combination with evidence and research-based practice are the keys to success in therapy. As a parent, I believe working in collaboration with families and understanding their concerns and goals is essential for a child's overall progress. You will often see me singing and dancing in therapy sessions, as music and movement help kids engage, focus, and have fun! My specialties include early intervention, social-pragmatic language skills, and feeding therapy.

Elise lives in the vibrant community of Leucadia and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Montana and earned her graduate degree from Chapman University. While in Montana, she had the unique opportunity to work on a local farm and to engage children with learning in that environment. Elise believes in making therapy fun and engaging and encouraging children to express themselves authentically. She is passionate about helping children grow fruits/veggies and expanding their diets as a result as well as
helping children discover their unique communication styles.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. Elise loves the ocean and embraces any activity that lets her be outdoors.
Rebecca Guss, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech Language Pathologist
I love what I do. I am lucky enough to build marble runs while I help a child find his words or speak so that others can understand her. I consider my profession an art as well as a science and treat my work with the dignity it deserves. On the flip side, I am a true “play geek” and make it my goal to have as much FUN as possible while building communication skills. Before becoming a speech therapist, I raced mountain bikes for several years (4 time national champion!), and grew up dancing 6 days a week. I believe in the power of muscle memory and understand that children’s motor movements are reflective of their speech patterns. In my mind, great therapy is well-researched, super fun, and targets underlying muscular systems and overall communication skills. I have specialized training in apraxia, feeding, autism, AAC intervention, routines-based intervention, and oral motor interventions.
Since moving to our farm location in 2021, I have become fascinated with helping children learn more about the food in their environment and engaging them with the sensory experiences they need to feel safe trying new foods and expanding their diets.
